LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT IN
PLANNING AND REGULATION OF
SPACE AND SETTLEMENTS

This year the focus is on the cities in South-Eastern Europe.
Intention of organizers is the to try to gather researchers and professionals from Europe and Serbia who work with planning of cities and other settlements, as well as experts for issues of the position of settlements, importance and role of local self-government, their impact on the closer and further surrounding area problems which they face in intra-urban/municipal organization.
Also, intention of the organizer is to try to open, clarify and improve some questions in the domain of role and impact of cities and urban settlements in the area of local governance in South-eastern Europe and Serbia, and also to help professionally the authorities at local level in solving the problems through numerous analysis, conclusions and suggestions in scientific papers.
