Ivana Stefanovic, MSc in spatial planning

Ivana Stefanovic was born in Belgrade, where she completed elementary and high school. She graduated in spatial planning from the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade – Department of Spatial Planning. She holds a Master degree in spatial planning from the same faculty.
Since March 2003, she worked in the Institute for Spatial and Urban Planning of the Ministry of Urban Planning and Constructions. Since the establishment of the Republic Agency for Spatial Planning in October 2003, she was employed in this Agency as the project manager at the beginning and later as head of the Department for Spatial Planning. As the Republic Agency for Spatial Planning was abolished in December 2014 Ivana was taken over to the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
She is engaged in monitoring and coordination of the process of elaboration of spatial plans under the competence of the Republic of Serbia. She is the member of the commissions for public hearings in spatial plans.
She organized and participated in several professional-scientific conferences contributing as an author and/or co-author with papers relating to the phases in the spatial plans elaboration, role of spatial plans of local-self governments in spatial development of the Republic of Serbia, etc. Papers were published in the publications followed mentioned conferences as well as in professional journals.
She was a member of the Presidency of the Serbian Spatial Planners Association, as well as member of the Marketing Commission, and nowadays she is a member of the Supervisory Board.
Ivana is member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers. She holds a license of responsible spatial planner.
